Echo Look is a product that helps you to build a lookbook of your wardrobe through photos and videos, while still having the functions of a normal Alexa device. Users could keep track of what they’ve worn in the Echo Look app; edit and share photos; get suggestions of new pieces to pair with what they already own; and featured inspirational fashion content from major fashion magazines, like Vogue and GQ.

When Amazon first launched Echo Look, the sales were significantly lower than projected. Despite the target audience of tech-forward influencers expressing high levels of interest, it just… wasn’t selling. Eventually, it was determined that the art direction was too cold, placed too much emphasis on the tech, and didn’t embody the fun nature of the device. At this stage, I was brought in as the designer to re-work the page with new assets. After seeing the much more lively and colorful imagery that was captured, I was inspired to create this fashion-forward page.
